What is the Big draw?

The Big draw was created by the Fondation Charles-Bruneau (the “Fondation”) as part of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau. It is intended to help finance research and the development of projects in pediatric oncology. Tickets go on sale on January 16, 2019, and may be purchased until July 3, 2019, at charlesbruneau.qc.ca/tirage, at the Fondation offices and participating CIBC banking centres, from April 1 to June 21, 2019.

What prizes are offered?

6 different prizes:
• A mountain bike trip for two (2) on the Côte d’Azur
• La Forfaiterie gift certificate
• Lowe’s Canada Gift Card
• Mont-Tremblant Station package
• One (1) night stay at Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, double occupancy
• A high-performance hybrid bike by Louis Garneau.

What do individual tickets cost?

• $10 for one ticket
• $100 for a booklet of 10 tickets

How will the funds collected be used?

The funds collected during this draw will serve two purposes:
1. Encourage a cyclist to collect donations as part of the Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau.
2. All donations will go toward advancing research and developing projects in pediatric oncology so that one day, all children with cancer can say, “When I grow up, I will be cured.”

Is it possible to order tickets online?

I can’t find the validation code on my ticket…

When I tried to enter my validation code, my name was already registered. Why?

Because the seller of your ticket already entered it for you.

When I tried to enter my validation code, someone else’s name was already associated with it. What should I do?

In this specific case, you must contact the seller of your ticket.

How will the winners be notified?

The winners will be notified by telephone or registered mail. Winners will be notified in the ten (10) days following the draw.

In the event that the organizer of the grand draw is unable to reach a winner, the latter will have until September 2, 2019 to claim his or her prize. Beyond this date, the winner will be deemed to have relinquished the prize. In the event that one or several prizes is/are not claimed, the Fondation will advise the Régie in order to determine the procedure to follow.

How do I claim my prize?

Winners may claim their prizes at the Fondation Charles-Bruneau, located at 4515 de Rouen Street, Montreal QC, H1V 1H1, telephone: 1-877-256-0404.
The Grand Prize winner will be asked to sign a waiver form and return it within 30 days of receiving it. For each prize claimed, the Fondation will award the prize solely to the person whose name is marked on the draw ticket or the person designated in writing by the ticket holder.

When is the deadline to purchase tickets?

Ticket sale ends on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at 11:59 p.m, Montreal time.

When does the draw take place?

The draw takes place on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at 1 p.m. at the offices of CRI Agence, located at 85 Saint-Paul Street West, Suite 120, Montreal QC, H2Y 3V4.

How much time do I have to claim my prize?

Winners have until September 2, 2019, 5 p.m. to claim their prizes. After this date, the winner will be deemed to have refused his or her prize. In the event that one or several prizes are not claimed, the Fondation will notify the Régie to determine the procedure to follow. The winners may claim their prizes from the Fondation Charles-Bruneau, located at 4515 de Rouen Street, Montreal QC, H1V 1H1, telephone: 1-877-256-0404.

What are the eligibility conditions for the Big draw?

The draw is intended for all Quebec residents aged 18 and over, with the exception of members of the Fondation’s board of directors as well as its permanent staff and persons living with them.
